Mulch Calculator

We recommend 2–3 inches for most beds. 4 inches for slopes or heavy weed suppression.

Soil Calculator

For raised beds, 6–12 inches is typical. For topdressing lawns, 1–2 inches is usually enough.

Gravel Calculator

For pathways and drainage, 2 inches is standard. For driveways, use 4 inches.

Pinestraw

We carry pinestraw in both bales and rolls — perfect for mulching beds, borders, and slopes. Rolls offer extra convenience: each roll is equivalent to 2.5 bales, covering more ground with less handling.
